    .020 will take up to 5 minutes to hold a set and must cure 24 hours before playing.

How to Use IC-2000™

Acetone is a solvent for IC-2000™ (and other CA adhesives) and should never be used in any preparation. Acetone works great for final clean-up on cured and uncured IC-2000™ after pushrod assembly.

Preparation: We have found the best procedure for pushrod assembly is to clean out the inside of the CF rod and the Titanium end with Isopropyl Alcohol 99%. This will remove all oils, mold release and solvents from the rod and end insuring the strongest bond possible. The inside of the rod be roughed up slightly with fine sandpaper the same as if you were using epoxy. If you sand the inside of the rod, clean it with alcohol again.

Applying IC-2000™: Shake well before using.  Apply IC-2000™ continually going around the inside of the rod 3 times and set upright to allow adhesive to run down the inside of the rod while you prepare the end. Apply to IC-2000™ to the end in beads covering approx. 75% of the end . Then rotate the end while inserting into the rod (1-2 turns) then hold down firmly for 10-20 seconds. On short rods, put a piece of tape over the end and down the rod to hold the end in place while curing.

The components in IC-2000™ will separate over time and must be shaken occasionally to insure a solid black color. If the first application from a new bottle of IC-2000™ is not solid black in color, discard the first few drops until you get a solid black color.

IC-2000 is also great for assembling golf clubs with Carbon Fiber shafts.
