1:35 SCALE RUSSIAN T-62A TANK
Description:
This is a Plastic 1:35 Scale T-62A Russian Tank from Tamiya. This kit is for modelers age 10 and over.
The T62 tank made its first official appearance in the victory parade to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the victory over Germany on May 9th 1965. It was the Soviet Union's reply to the Western new tanks. However, eight years later in October 1973, Israeli troops captured a considerable number of Arab T62 tanks and about ten of these were sent to the U.S. and put through exhaustive tests, which revealed everything about the tank which had been veiled in mystery.

Throughout WWII, Germany carried out an extensive program of armored vehicle development, deploying a vast range of armored vehicles to the front line. Amongst these vehicles, the compact 4WD Sd.Kfz.222 remains one of the most famous and popular. Featuring welded plate armor particular to German vehicles at that time, the Sd.Kfz.222 was fitted with a rotating open top turret protected by grenade deflecting mesh screens. The 222 was equipped with an anti-tank and anti-aircraft 20mm main gun and a 7.92mm machine gun. TAMIYA 1/35 German Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkraftrad
Description:
This 1/35 scale assembly model recreates an all-new version of the Kettenkraftrad, which was previously released in the 1/35 Military Miniature Series as Item 35029 back in 1973. The kit depicts a mid-production version, as opposed to the early-production version seen in the 1973 release. The model gives you more realistic scenery options with three infantry figures and a cart also included. The Kettenkraftrad was originally developed for commando units, but was found to be highly useful on the poor terrain in Russian territory. Of its numerous versions, the mid- production was the most prolifically manufactured, and was used to transport materials and even guns in the latter half of WWII.

TAMIYA 1835 British 25 Pndr Gun/Quad Kit
Description:
The 25-pounder was the main field artillery weapon used by British Commonwealth and colonial infantry and armoured divisions of all types during the Second World War. It was also used by the RAF Regiment in North Africa. Throughout the war, each British-pattern infantry division was established with 72 25-pounders, in three field artillery regiments. Armoured divisions were eventually standardised with two field artillery regiments, one of which was self-propelled. Before mid-1940, each regiment had two batteries of twelve guns; after that date, regiments changed to batteries of eight guns and added a third battery, a process that was not completed until early 1943. In the late 1950s, the British Army reverted to batteries of six guns. Field artillery regiments had two batteries of 25-pounders and one of 5.5 inch guns
By Second World War standards, the 25-pounder had a smaller calibre and lower shell-weight than many other field-artillery weapons, although it had longer range than most. Most forces had entered the war with even smaller 75 mm (3.0 in) designs but had quickly moved to 105 mm (4.1 in) and larger weapons. It was designed for the British practice of suppressive (neutralising) fire, not destructive fire that had proved illusory in the early years of the First World War. Nevertheless, the 25-pounder was considered by all to be one of the best artillery pieces in use. The effects caused by the gun (and the speed at which the British artillery control system could respond) in the North-West Europe Campaign of 1944–1945 made many German soldiers believe that the British had secretly deployed an automatic 25-pounder.
The Morris Commercial C8 FAT (Field Artillery Tractor), commonly known as a Quad, is an artillery tractor used by the British and Commonwealth (including forces during the Second World War. It was used to tow field artillery pieces, such as the 25-pounder gun-howitzer.

TAMIYA 1/35 Russian T34/76 Chtz Kit
Description:
During the early period of the Second World War, the Wehrmacht invasion into industrialized Russia threatened the supply of critical war materials and manufacturing plants. Russia's National Defense Committee made a decision to move tank production and associated factories. The location became known as "Tankograd" (Tank City) a nickname acquired for this site situated deep in the Urals. The Russians, with an urgent requirement to reinforce their tank strength, made efforts to simplify tank manufacturing methods. This resulted in many versions of the T34 tank, that differed greatly from each other. One of the more distinctive versions was produced at the Chelyabinsk Tractor Works, "ChTZ" in Tankograd in 1943. This model used a one piece cast turret with pronounced rounding on the edges of the turret roof and a peculiar dip along the lower edge of the turret. This improved turret, had additional periscope and pistol ports, and provided more room and comfort for the crew. A new five-speed transmission with modified clutch was added, replacing four-speed model. Combined with engine improvements, these modifications extended the time between maintenance and repair. With few of the "ChTZ" versions produced, of the thousands of T34/76 tanks manufactured, it is regarded almost as a rarity.
