The NO.5 Kadee® Magne-Matic® Coupler features a Metal Coupler, #634 Centering Spring.
It is not recommended to use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gear box to avoid the possible electrical crossover or shorting that may cause damage. Use an insulated draft gear box or use the very strong plactic isolated #28 Coupler which has the same mounting dimensions as the NO.5 Coupler.
Contains ten pair of NO.5® Metal Universal Kadee® Couplers with phosphor bronze metal Centering Springs.
NOTE: Does not include Draft Gear Boxes or Lids.
These switches have a remote control switch machine attached so you can wire the switch to be "thrown" (changing the direction of the rail), from your control panel, rather than from the switch itself. Comes with a 1/3 18" radius section, making the curved leg equal to an 18" radius section. To add a passing track and siding, simply replace a 9" straight section. When replacing an 18' radius curved section with an Atlas Snap-Switch, add a 1 1/2" straight section to the opposite side.
Classic Code 100 flex track designed to easily create custom track designs.
Nickel silver track and gray roadbed; 1/card
The terminal rerailer is connected via terminal wires to a power pack, which provides current to power the layout. In addition to making power connections, the terminal rerailer is also designed to correct derailments that sometimes occur during normal railroad operations. It can also be used to help properly align wheels on the track when first assembling a train for operation. If you want to use the rerailer to help place cars on the track, you should install it so that it is easily accessible. Otherwise, it should be installed after a difficult section of track (turnout, crossing, “S” curve, etc.) where derailments may occur.
Also available in the E-Z Track® system is a 9” Straight Rerailer if you need a rerailer but do not need to make power connections.
Steel alloy track with black roadbed; 4/card
22” radius curved track is best used to make relatively wide railroad curves.
This track accommodates longer HO locomotives and rolling stock, and permits mainline operation at higher speeds.
It can be placed on the outside of 18” radius curved E-Z Track® for double-track mainline realism. Four pieces of track make up one quarter (90 degrees) of a 44” diameter circle. Also available in bulk.
