Central Hobbies Shipping And
Handling Policies
Standard charges listed below do
not apply to over-sized packages, such as airplane kits, or to
shipping destinations outside the United states.
Basic Shipping & Packaging Charge:
We charge $7.98 on all orders for shipping standard ground to any
point in the U.S. We will ship your order via our choice of carrier,
and you should receive it within three to ten business days.
Three Day Delivery:
$19.95 We'll ship
your order (our choice of carrier) to arrive within three business
days.
Two Day Delivery:
$24.95 We'll ship
your order (our choice of carrier) to arrive in two business days.
Next Business Day Delivery:
Actual Shipping Cost Billed We'll ship your
order (via our choice of carrier) to arrive the very next business
day.
If you need to specify the carrier or a special method of shipping
beyond our regular methods, we will do our best to comply. You will
then be charged actual costs of shipping.

Back
Orders
If you allow us to back order items that are out of stock when you place
your original order, you will only be charged our low $7.98 shipping fee once per order.
We will not charge you twice on shipping for orders containing back orders.
International back orders, or orders that have special shipping requested will incur
additional charges. Back orders may be cancelled at anytime.
Merchandise Returns
Please do not send merchandise back to us before calling and getting a
return authorization number. Some manufacturers insist on dealing directly with the
customer on warranty and or replacement issues. We will be more than happy to help
you with purchase dates, as our computer data base is very complete on sales history.
International Customers
All new international orders:
For security purposes Central Hobbies requires a clean and legible copy
of the front and back of your signed credit card, along with your
account number and name printed clearly below. You must also
include your signature on the document, authorizing us to charge your
account. This must be faxed to us at 1-406-259-4744 (email is not
as secure as faxed materials). When we receive this information
and legal authorization, we will process your order.
International shipping will appear on your online invoice as $0. Actual shipping
charges for destinations other than continental United States will be added to your
invoice amount and the order will be shipped right away.
If you wish to be
notified of shipping costs before the order is filled, there is a check box on the
checkout form telling us to contact you via email.
For your
protection, all orders shipped from our US store to a point
beyond the continental United States will be shipped via a service that
includes insurance and tracking.
