When you've tried all the different tools, gadgets, and
devices to measure the amount of throw on your control surfaces, you’ll select
& use the
CRC THROW METER!
There are good reasons for this:
1. It tells you exactly what you need to know.
You simply observe the position of
the pointer.
2. It attaches to the control surface without marring
it, and stays in place without wiggling or moving, so you get an extremely
accurate reading — even at the flying field where conditions aren't always ideal.
TIP: If you use two of them,
you can put one on each elevator half, and check for
differential, without moving the meter back and forth. Attach
one on each aileron, and you can check both at the same
time. |
