Quique's 73" Yak features
built-up wood construction with sheeted foam turtledeck
and fuse sides for lightness and strength, plug-in wings
with carbon fiber wing tube, quality fiberglass cowl,
ball links, titanium pushrods, pull-pull rudder assembly
with rudder servo arm, fuel tank and more.
Building on the 72" Yak 54's success, the NEW 73"
version features 7% more wing area yet builds out to
approximately the same weight. We've upgraded the
accessories and hardware with carbon fiber wingtube,
ball links, titanium pushrods, pin hinges, heavier
landing gear and more.
The ARF kit comes about 95% built. It is beautifully
covered with Ultracote film and a marvelous paint job on
the fiber glass parts and canopy. The kit includes all
the hardware and wing a bag has been added to the newest
airplanes. The flying has shown that this ARF blurs the
line between hardcore 3D performance and precision
stability. Quique designed this airplane based on his
37.4% competition Yak-54 that he used to win so many
world aerobatic competitions. A true unlimited performer
for 3D and precision aerobatics.
